One more thing...... completely disregard that link above. That is not an E model carb, yours will look different.... ohhh if only I could load my photo's. The photos I wanted to show have been removed in that discussion.

Lads, I remember reading a trailzone article on the exact problem you are trying to overcome. I'm sure they contacted the boys from one of the Cape York tour groups and gave out his advice. Give me a day or two and I will try and post the article.

I need to do this to my bike too.

All done ,i ran the two lines back up past the air box and down where the rear blinkers connect into the wiring loom .Now they sit behind the right guard that covers the exhaust . Thanks again ..
