I think my rad guards are causing the bike to overheat in the long tight single trail stuff when there's not enough air flow...

ANyone else had this issue??

I know the easiest is to pull the rad guards off - which is on the cards, as I really dont want a thermo fan. Just wanted to see what other did if they had this happen.

Anyone just use rad braces...any recommendations??

You could always try the fan from a 400S and a manual switch in leiu of the thermostat switch see link below

If there is a 50/50 chance of gettingb the right answer how come there is a 90% chance of getting it wrong

Hey I have the Rad braces (unibiker) and I thought the same thing when I was bolting them on, but no have never had the probs.

How often have you - if ever - changed your coolant and which one have you used.

Try the TECTALOY 60 PLUS pre mixed, this is what i use and change every 2000 - 2500kms.

Hope this helps.

Cheers, OWEY.
