Awesome job Aussiedrz400e :woohoo:

Can you give us some more details.

How thick is the sticker will it last like the originals?
What program did you use iIlustrator?
Rough guide on price?
How many colours can be printed?

This is one thing I have always wanted to do to my DRZ because of the plain looking huge 28 litre tank.

Are you planning anything for the front guard and headlight?

Andrew.

Hi Andrew
Ive printed on a 5-7 year vinyl with my solvent printer and then I put a matt laminate over the top
They are around the same thickness as stock

I use corel but I use illustrator also
If you supply the artwork as a .EPS file I could print them for you
at a cost of around $50 that would just cover materials
And you can print any colour
msg me and I can help you further I have a sign company located in Qbn

Cheers

looks great mate.......i think you should make up a DRZ club style sticker that looks great and you can only have one if your a member of this site or riding group......

Re:Sticker Kit 9 years, 5 months ago #78

Yea I would love to do that
I was thinking something for the swing arm with the site name

Is that ok Andrew? I would post them out to members for free
Good way to get the site noticed

I could come up with a few designs next week and post and let us all decide on a good one

yeah im up for a swing arm kit for sure....but i think we should stick with the most common colours for drz's....(the red yellows blues and blacks)....i dont think it should have any ktm or kwaka colours.....need it to blend in with the the other stickers on the bike...some flames behind a drz 400.com logo is my first suggestion with the Z being abit bigger and bolder maybe....and im willing to pay for the stickers aswell

Hi aussiedrz400e,

Thats more then ok with me, it sounds like an awesome idea. Are you sure you want to do it for free how much would it cost to cover the materials?

I am working on adding a user gallery to the site which could also be used for users to submit designs and the Poll system could be used to vote on the designs.

Bummer I paid a furtune to get my swing arm stickers from the USA

Regards
Andrew

Hi Andrew
No Problems at all I will get a few designs up for judging for the weekend

Members could send me a self addressed A4 envelope and I could post them back

There's to option I can print colour on clear or cut vinyl text a solid colour which has a life of 7 years but harder to apply if people have no experience

I will get working on a few designs
Cheers
