hi guys I am new to DRZ's.

I have cracked the overflow tank for the coolant so am waiting for a part to be sent to Adel. When replacing this the top hose is only a vent by the looks - is this correct as the hose has come clear from the frame when removing? It is very tight to get out & got snagged up and pulled free.

Also what type brand of coolant is recommended?

Any help appreciated!

That would be a breather hose , not sure about what coolant to use , ask at the bike shop you have to go there to get it . I wouldnt be just putting any coolant in there . or mixing coolants either , i have always been advised not to mix coolants ...

Job complete & easier to get it in than out!

Also a clip on YouTube showing how to drain the tank - quite easily explained for those that are new to this.

Thanks

Has anyone run the liquid Intelligence "MX115 Waterless Motorcross Coolant"?
The write up on it makes some pretty big promises, temp range of -56 to 190 degrees C and 40% more efficient than Glycole/Water based coolant!
