Does anyone have lowered footpegs on a drz400e.
I would like to drop mine 20-25mm
I have raised my bars and I have rc bend high rise bars.
I still feel I am leaning too far forward when standing....feels unstable/not balanced.
I'm setting the bike up for adventure riding.
Any info with regard to;
a) Where did you get them?
b) How did you make them?
Don't really want the cut them off and weld them on lower.
Any advise appreciated.

Hi, I bought MSR Soft Foot Pegs 0.5" Back for DRZ400 00-09 from (from memory), I think they are approx 5 to 10mm lower as well as back. I ordered them for my 2006 DRZ400e but when they arrived found the holes for the pins were too small - seems they are designed for the DRZ400s and these have smaller pins(?) - I drilled out the holes (bit tricky or they won't fit perfectly square to the frame)and had to bodgy the spring to make it all fit - nevertheless - they do work and provide a nice wide platform for my size 13 boot and a bit more legroom for my 6'3" frame. Pivot Pegz now make a set for the DRZ400 available from - most Pivotpegz can be set in a "low" position but not all - you best confirm with Pivotpegz first.
