hey guys
what do you recon would be the best brand of engine oil to suit a 2007 DRZ400E?
the books say 10W30 but what brand would be best, i was thinking belray thumper friction modified 10w30 but it is not for use with wet clutches, specified for crf450 and 250,
what would you blokes recommend!!

xI use Caltex Delo400 diesel oil . Buy it in bulk 20L - 60 L drums. Change it often. 500 km intervals if the ride is hard, but up to 2000kM maximum intervals. All oils break down quickly in motorcycle engines.

I think it is false economy to change at 6000 km intervals as per the manual.

that sounds like a good idea, i have got an RHK engine hour meter for my oil change intervals every 5 to 10 hours of riding time! i have some motul transoil 10w30 which is exellent stuff! yeah the manual is fairly unpredictable just depends on how you ride your DRZ
