So the missus dropped my bike (400E 2013) and snapped the front brake lever. Fortunately only the end inch or so broke off so i am still able to ride it till i get a new lever. Question is because im a bit of a noob I've no idea what type of lever i should replace it with. I want something stronger to prevent this from happening again but without busting the bank. Any suggestions? Thanks

I trim @ 30-35 mm off my clutch and brake levers anyway because I only use two fingers to pull them in. Its a good idea to rest at least 1 finger on each lever while riding in case you need to use clutch or brake in a hurry, clutch pull on the DRZ is fairly light. With short levers you can still have a good grip on the bars while using only two fingers to pull on the levers.

I agree with you there. Never got around to replacing the broken lever and it doesn't bother me so ive just left it alone.
