Hi Guys,

I have recently installed a MRD full system and have snorkel removed. Bike seems to run ok but i know jetting will be required.
I am in Perth and am struggling to find anyone who has the JD jet kits. Can anyone tell me the best place to get either online or in Perth

Will it run too lean and damage the engine in the meantime????

Any help would be much appreciated!

You should be ok unless you are running it full throttle for extended periods. Drop the clip position to groove 5 to raise the stock needle and give more fuel at high revs.

These are my current settings with standard header, Staintune muffler and high flow baffle. You can probably get the needle and jets from your local bike shop or on line.
Main Jet – 170
Pilot Jet – Std – 45 (you might be able to use a 48 pilot)
Needle – OBEMN - clip position 4 from top
Fuel / Air Mix – 2 turns out

I have also wired the accelerator pump link levers together and ground down the rivet on the pump diaphragm. The fork on the bottom of the metal link lever should be adjusted so that fuel squirts from the jet in the carb body just as the slide rises when the throttle is opened. Make sure the spray just misses the bottom of the slide as it rises. Carb must be taken off for this mod.
Google - Eddie Sinseros FCR carb mods, if you need more help.
