TOPIC: Trail Tech Vapor Speedo

Re:Trail Tech Vapor Speedo 7 years, 7 months ago #1327

Interesting.

Mine has come with a plastic insert which is to be spliced into the radiator hose. The temp sensor can be removed from the insert but looks to have a 10mm thread - the bleed screw on the top of the radiator is only a 6mm screw or so.

I think that i might have a ring around and see if i can get a different temp sensor taht will fit, i would rather the extra expense then to cut into hoses (especially that close to the exhaust) or drill into the radiator.

The thing is when ordering to specify that it is for a DRZ400 and it will come with the correct fittings for the temp sensor.

I waited about 6 weeks to get mine as BlingKing were out of stock of the correct one for the DRZ

That said I am sure you would be able to pick up the sensor only from Trailtech or any of it's dealers.

Try this mob that is who I got mine through blingkingproducts.com.

They may be able to help.
If its not broken.
Fix it until it is !!
